I should have my cut Juggs and hopefully a set of Giant Tracs....so you could use one of those sets.

Breaking axles already huh.... glad I bought some spares.

I should have my tires on Friday, I ordered them from Tower today and had them Fedexed for an extra 5 bucks... wifes not too happy i blew $113.00. Also got a few more spares and had them price match stormer hobbies on the tires/wheels.

Looks like I will be bringing the BLING!!!

The only problem now is.... the "Driver"
That one place just let me know they are out of stock on the wheels. So whatever I will be running my BFTs (Not a bad thing at all, really)

They have enough grip to bust an inner and tube all while just tuning!

Unfortunately, I think that there's no way I'm going to get my crawler done in time for Sunday. I'm also waiting for parts from about 3 different companies. My axles still need to be completed, servo mounts made, chassis is only 3/4 done (can't finish it until the axles are done to find out best place for shock locations), and no links. I could possibly get it done with a miracle and a full day's work in the machine shop. The boss just doesn't seem to want my to work on my "toys" while on company time. Go figure...lol.

But, rig or not, I'll be there. If nothing else just to see how everyone else did theirs. If you've read any of my other posts, then you know that I just bought my first rc anything about 2 months ago, so, I still got a lot to learn.

So, see ya Sunday!

(unless of course you want to postpone the comp for 2 more weeks...lol)

WRMorrison, don't worry, we have comps once a month. you can always make it out to the next one. but i do hope you can get your rig done in time. if all else fails you can drive my stock txt-1. (if it's still running, i can't remember!)

I have to drive down there to fix my GFs 4Runner's serious exhaust leak :( Guess I'll get to do it in the rain too, at the airport, in the parking lot. Ugh.

I think I'll still be able to make it, but I'm unsure. I will be down in PHX though

JB Weld

There is a bolt broken at the collector flange, its been fine for a while but I think it finally loosened up. So basically she is running an open header... Not good for a little 4 banger (Or anything, really!) So I need to go fix it for her so she can drive up.

Hey slbks5, what kind of body are you looking for? I've got a new CJ8 body from proline that I'm not going to use. I drew on the overspray film, but other than that, it's only a couple weeks old. I've also got all the decals for it. If you want it, make me an offer I can't refuse...lol.

Let me know

if it rains we will run the comp next weekend. keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't rain. i was thinking about moving it to saturday, this way if saturday is nice we can have the comp, and if saturday is shit, we at least have sunday. but i think this will make things too complicated. what do you guys think?

dave, just give me a call and i will help any way possible with the exhaust leak.
