So, who's ready? I have about 3 hours of work to do before I'm ready to go.

I'm still working on my stuff too. I got the VP 8* stuff for my SCX but didn't realize it was 0* ackerman...won't clear with 1.9 wheels. So I still have to figure that out but otherwise everything else has been checked over and ready to go.

Try the Traxxas gray composite hex hubs, there a bit longer and tough as shot. I have snapped a few gunner pins with zero damage to the hubs and there very cheap.

I already got a set of them on there, the knuckle arms still rub the tires. Thinking I will have to go back to regular knuckles and C's, unless there is a 8* regular ackerman knuckle.

I have some VP 8* knuckles, I don't think they are 0 ack, if you want to use them. I'll dig through my stuff tomorrow and let you know for sure.

EDIT: Looking at VP's site, looks like all they have is zero ack.

How much?

I had pulled the set of VP high steer knuckles off my Berg but then began breaking the plastic inner C's. I figured I'd get the full 8* kit so I could give the other knuckles back to the comp truck.

If someone had a set of nice regular ackerman knuckles and C's I'd probably trade straight across for the 8* stuff...

Are you sticking with the idea of using the water obstacle as a special line you have to use at least once during your 3 laps? Will the water/mud be deep enough to worry about water proofing?

Any corrections or answers welcome."thumbsup"

The weather can play games with us so if you have the time water/splash proof as much as you can. Just a thought.

Colby 04-21-2013 09:18 PM

Id splash proof it Jake! Just enough to piss yall off with some slippery conditions.

I checked my knuckles today, and yep, they're zero ackerman. Good thing Stelerzman has what you need because I won't be any help.
