Okay. Safe to assume the 14 mag would be more of a flywheel than this 8 mag motor? 14 mag smoother start up? |

Yes, the 14mag has more mass, and a LOT smoother startup. I even have a few tweaks I will be trying to smooth it out further over the standard design. I gotta learn to shut my mind off, it is Saturday and I'm supposed to take the weekends off so I don't go insane!

Can't believe this thread was started almost 4 years ago and is now up to page 25! So many guys must have pulled most of their hair out waiting for this dream to become reality. When are we gonna see some actual product out of all this?

There have been some issues getting magnets out of china as of late. I'm not sure if it was my order for bulk magnets or what, but there is a break in supply that has been putting a damper on the last order. Everything is done and ready on my end, its just a waiting game for magnets now. |

Sure, but you won't be getting the benefits of a sensored system.

Whoop Whooop!!! New motors on the market soon. Always exciting when a new product comes out, especially after such a long dev time.

Tekin RS = 56.7 inc wires Not sure what they decased weights would be but with Tekin over 20g ahead it's a safe bet they'd also be lighter decased... but of course budget always dictates. I wonder which one would actually be a better crawling ESC in terms of function??? | |
