Some tech from the run the other day- 50 minutes hard bash crawling (as seen in the vid) max motor temp 110f. 8 minutes full blast grass running, max motor temp 160f. I'm going to recharge the battery and see how much it took. Cells were 1300mah and didn't show signs of sagging after an hour. Efficient? Seems so!
Sounds good to me!

I'm gonna pair it with my RX8, give it a whirl on 4s and monitor temps

I'd so much like to see one of these perform in an LCC...
Might be my next motor.

Some inclined slow creeping on 3s would be cool to see. And some torque torture testing, pulls and whatnot.

Question: I can't tell from the pic, but can the shaft extend out the 'base' or other end of the can like a typical outrunner? It looks like it may be closed on the bottom, but I can't tell for sure.

John, can the shaft be reversed? So it exits out the back?

If you've got the room and don't mind the weight of 2 esc's sure.

Check out the thread for recommended controllers

I can't wait to try these out. Man that looks sweet. Now to get one with 5mm shafts out both ends and we can have true direct drive.

It is also important for me.

I think the photo shows a 0.2 countersunk to 1/8". Changing to a standart 0.2 shaft should be no problem.
Isn't it - John?

Shaft can exit any way you want, we can install custom shafts as well. The first protos don't have the ability to change shaft, but all the next runs will have exchangeable shaft.
