Since I have already bought mine even if an update comes into affect I won't be able to change it, so I'm hoping I'll either just be able to live with it or swap the wiring on the switch around a bit. Kieren |

I cant find it:sad: |
I think you'll just have to get your button pushing speed up :lmao: Start practicing. It may be a bigger deal to others, but nothing you couldn't adapt too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8tFQeewYeI |

Thanks. The thing that was getting me was the "iirc" what does it stand for. |
Is there a Way to run Dual ESC's Mixed so you can Dial down either one and have DIG's like normal. I don't care about having Cutting brakes at this time. |
Been a busy weekend, sorry for not getting questions answered yet. I'll get on it tomorrow or later tonight. |
Cannot wait to hear back from you. A good review from you can easily be make or break for this controller. |
I think it's like this, Push once and your in rear, push again and your in front, push again and your in 4wd. |

It's pretty clear in the vid that what I described is what is going on...:x |
Just trying to understand what the issue is. Is it that the one button toggle is easy to mix up? |

Maybe futaba did this so if you needed this you had to get the 4pk? but someone could make up some sort of circuit with a array of relays that will give the needed pulses per position, or possibly maybe some sort of encoder |

Ok, pity you can't plug it in to the likes of a caslte link or similar sort of thing. Can you chose which DT you use for the dig? If so could you not put it on one of the 3 position trims around the wheel so that you set it something like below. One Click left - Front Dig One Click Right - 4WD Another Click Right - Rear Dig Click Left - 4WD? That kinda sounds like how you were doing it in the video actually. If that is how it is that really isn't a bug, that is fine? Cheers Kieren |
You cannot use the Dual ESC programming with a DT switch. That is what I am asking Futaba to update. You could do it with a punk dig style setup, just not this programming. |
Ahh now we're making sense. So you can only put it on a push button correct? Any chance of you pulling the radio apart and seeing if has 3 wires:ror: Thanks for answering all my questions, futaba must pay you well! Kieren |
If we are not worried about having cutting brakes. Is there a way to run the dual esc's and have control over the dig like normal? |

Harley just said you can't do that. |
Extensive videos tonight, I promise! |

It's only 20 to 2 here so anytime is fine:ror: Kieren |
It's 10:40 here, just got home. Going to start recording now, my cable modem shot craps so I'm uploading and shooting from my phone tonight. |
Damn you time zones! |

Wow, that seems very easy to program for dual esc's. I don't think it would be that hard to get used to the dig button. |
The programming is basically set from the factory, the only thing I didn't show was programming the buttons. I will do that in a detailed video, I just wanted to try and answer questions for you guys. |
With the 3pos rockers on the grip I have I hopes they can make this radio very sweet! |
thanks Harley, Just sometime could you detail how you set the rate to DT and the likes? Thanks again"thumbsup" Kieren |
Thanks for the overview Josh! I sure hope Futaba takes your suggestions for the DT switches. I would like to use DT4 for dig, like the spektrum DX3 I am currently using. Hold one way for front dig, center 4wd, hold other way for rear dig, with the option to change bias using another DT. |
Thanks for the videos and your honest opinions, Harley. I hope the reprogramming gets worked out sometime soon. I'm really looking forward to getting this. |
