| BEC-servo stall amps
Hi, if a servo draws 2A at stall, would a 5A bec be strong enough ?

Likely, it depnds on the volts it's set for. I have seen where some say there is a watt limit on the BEC (at least for the CC 10A BEC). Thus it's a function of volts & amps. You must have a small servo, most servos used for steering will pull a lot of amps when stalled. |

The 2A stall is the figure given for a Hitec hs 5755,a 330oz@6v,which is why i was checking if a 5A bec was enough. In theory it should be. A castle bec + program card is nearly $60 here in europe !! |

Hmmm.....I don't know for sure, but I would have guessed a 5755 would pull a ton more amps when stalled. |
