squatch, you're right. its my opinion, and the opinion of many here. i don't care if what they made long ago was stellar, what they make now is well below par, the motors may be decent but the esc's leave much to be desired, and after reading MANY horror stories about their customer service.....mainly about the brushless systems as i'm a losi driver. they will never have a place in any vehicle of mine.

I knew what the OP was stating, I also understood a different reference to "pos", thus the "wink".

I don't own a current Novak, my "newest" one is likely 20 years old & still running. Actually, ALL my dirt/pan car ESC's are Novaks from the early TempFets on and I think they all still work. Just none of them have reverse.

Sooo.....stanmondz, are you set now? Feel free to ask more questions if you have them.
