I've sold a few of each, DX3, and DX6. Never had a complaint. I have a DX3 myself, and love it. works just fine for 4ws. The DX 6 sells for $189.00 with 1 receiver and 4 servos The DX3 sells for $189.00 with 1 receiver and 2 servos The DX 3 for $219.00 comes with 2 receivers and 2 servos. Before anyone gets excited, the four servos that come with the DX6 are micro servos. The high torque 590s that come with the DX3s (you only get one 590 with each system, the other servo is a standard servo) are metal gear servos and rated at ~87oz |

I didn't intend to if I did? make the servos that come with the units a selling point by any means. Matter of fact, I would only use them as spares. I've been very happy with the 645's.

Just won a DX3 today on eBay, been looking at them for awhile. Can't wait to try it out. How many modes? Have one for the clod with rear steer and one for the scale TLT with winch.

the spectrum comes in moduals too pick up a hitec with its specta modual or R/Z 1 or 3pk or m8/11 and a spectum modual then you can have a way better radio then a dx 3/ jr rebranded xr3 and way cheaper than the nomadio

Just one of those things. At some point someone will end up reading this thread, not bothering to click the link to the Spektrum site, see your post, and ask about the servos. Figured I'd save us the grief ahead of time. ;) | |

So for the guys with both a DX3 and DX6, can you use one to control the others receiver if you bind it? ex. Use a DX6 to control the receiver that comes with the DX3? I understand that you will not have full function of all the extra channels, but for the 3 that are available, will it work?

The DX6 has two links to the RX. DX3 only has one. Back in a few. Just tried binding my DX6 to the 3 channel RX that is in my touring car. Won't work...won't bind I'm assuming that it won't work with the DX3 TX on the DX6 RX either. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 07-02-2006 at 03:00 PM. |

Received the DX3 today and I'm quite happy! :-) I have two mods set, MOD1 for rear steer when I want it through botton A (the transmission shifter) and the MOD2 is a 50% rear steer mixed with the front. Both work well with two 645 servos through a Super Rooster. I think I'll try the hi tourqe one that came with it for the scale truck steering, should be fine at 87 onces. If not it'll be a winch... Radio itself works flawless! Binding took all of five minutes for me to read an 30 seconds to bind. |

Yes. I've had my DX6 on the Clod since I bought the radio. |

That nomadio looks cool, but for the price over the DX3, I could pick up an extra receiver. The only other thing that is making me hesitate is I want to control more than 3 trucks (t-maxx, soon revo and both my crawlers to start). Maybe I should stop being picky and I can always just reprogram as necessary from nitro to electric. |

Right, but I'm talking about being able to have more than 3 model memory. With the electrics it is no biggie, but my nitros if I have the throttle reversed or something, bye bye nitro truck. I just pulled the trigger on a DX3, figured why not and if I don't like it, I'll just sell it down the road. I can't see me not liking it though. |
