Well look at it this way if you don't get the blockage out it's just a paper weight anyway. Besides if you can do it in less then 15 min EddieO will let you rub his feet. Post up if you need any help |

Well I opened it up and cleaned it but didn't really find anything. I will put it back together and see if it works or not. There was some small things but that seemed like dirt or something to small to do anything but I am not sure. I guess I'll have to see.

Video is ok but don't do the sandpaper thing. If you look a couple pages back on the comments you'll see EddieO(teambrood) giving him a hard time over it. If you can't find the object look through the bottom of the motor with a good light and make sure it didn't fall when the com was pulled out. It doesn't take much to stop a motor. A few months ago I was playing around after a comp and sucked a leaf into the motor and the stem stopped it cold. Let us know how it goes. |

The airgap between the magnets and the arm is very small....it doesn't take much to stop it....a small grain of sand can often do it....and 99% of the time when you pull it apart, the culprit ends up falling out before you ever see it. Look for damage on the arm laminations (the green area) for damage and on the windings... Later EddieO |
