Default Eletronics Shuttnig Off

I have a Wraith with:
45T Novak Rock Star
Axial ESC
Novak 5A BEC
Airtronics 3 channel Rx/Tx
Savox 1230SG
3c lipos

When i get the car in a bind and trun the wheels or throttle it will shut off and a couple seconds later turn back on. It seems to do it more on the 3C lipo than the 2C.

Or the BEC doesn't like the servo load. Savox servos are notorious for being amp hungry.

Either low "C" packs that are dipping in voltage (hitting the ESC LVC) or the servo is overdrawing the BEC and giving the RX a "brownout".

Is the Novak direct to the servo or through the RX?
If through the RX, is the red ESC to RX wire removed??

What mah & "C" rating on your packs?

What battery connectors? Cheap ones, like Tamiya, have issues as they age.

I bet its the BEC dropping out causing a brown out.

Do you lose all power? Can you steer while it happens?

Loose all power, I have bec hooked into the battery spot on Rx, should i switch to 10amp CC bec. I have dig on this and sometimes when i switch the dig servo it does same time shuts off then back on. never does it if im full throttle running around just crawling under load. Im running two sets of led lights on it and am using y cable on the Aux output and the stearing output to power the lights. If there is another way to wire this thing for lights stearing and thottle let me know

I bet switching to a CC 10a BEC would fix your problems.

You could try letting the BEC power just the steering servo and let the ESC power the rx, lights and dig. That will split the load up.

Anything to isolate the RX from the servo would be good. I would probably throw dig on the external BEC as well.

Its up to you. The easiest would be to pull the red wire from the ESCs RX plug and just run the CC BEC through the RX. If you continue to have glitching issues then separate the servo power from the RX power and only power the servo with the CC BEC while the ESC powers up the radio.

This is the way I wire mine up. BEC bypasses the RX to servo & ESC powers RX and lights. That way you are using all the power you have available to use.
