| CC BEC or CC BEC Pro?
So I've always been using CC BEC's on all my rigs either scale or comp from 1.55 to 2.2''s. ESC's are all either Castle Sidewinders, MMP's, MMM, and a few BRXL's that I only run one CC BEC on. My question really is when do I use the CC BEC or CC BEC Pro? My servos are all Hitecs from 7955's to 7980's. Never had any brown outs with the regular CC BEC but now I'm seeing some builds using the CC BEC Pros especially with the Futaba high end servos... Am I missing something here? I tend to run 7.4V on most my Hitecs that can handle it. |

It just depends on the draw on the BEC. You really should figure out the max total draw from the servos and then see what each BEC is rated for and use that info to decide. I run a Pro in my super (dual 7980's and big tires). All of my other trucks (including wraith with front and rear steer [bls152 servos]), run the regular BEC. |

For a single servo, I see no reason to run a CC BEC Pro, a regular 10A BEC should be more than fine. Dual high torque servos are a different matter. |

Ahh that makes sense now...dual servo rigs especially Wraiths or comp rigs with high torque 4ws servos. Got it!
