| axial ae-1 esc problems
I have an axial ae-1 esc and I will plug it into the battery which is a 2s 2450mah lipo, and it wont come on unless you wiggle the wires and get it in the right spot it will finally chime and I can drive but once I hit a bump or hill it just shuts back off and you have to wiggle the wires. I figure it is a connection problem? but wanted opinions from someone else.

Sounds like a loose internal wiring issue. But I'm pretty certain the ae-1 is lipo compatible but you must run a low voltage cutoff. Heres a link for you http://www.axialracing.com/faq Sent from the end of my fingertips |

What connectors are you running? SOunds like Tamiya which will be an issue at some point, Deans are a better choice.

| Re: axial ae-1 esc problems Tamiya plugs are KNOWN to have issues, if not new, then down the road. The XT-60's are a decent replacement. This may be a large part of your issues.

fixed that issue now I don't have reverse and idk what is wrong cuz it is not programmable. I was running it on a 27t axial motor and a 2s lipo. and I got through part of the g6 and it got real hot then I lost reverse. what has happened
