|  tekin rs only has 50% power in reverse
Ok I've tired resetting everything and still only get 50% throttle in reverse . Forward seems fine. I'm running a Novak 35T terra claw . Thought I'd ask here first before calling the help line. I'm using a FlySky FS-GT3B and during set up I noticed it won't run with the throttle/brake in normal setting and has to be in reverse surely the radio is not my problem. I have a new motor on the way.

What settings are you using in the esc? Did you calibrate the esc/radio?

A lot of ESC's come with reverse set to 50% which does not help a crawler out. | |

Are you setting the RS with a hotwire or manually(with the buttons an LEDs as a guide)? I had that issue with my sons with the RS an a 13.5t redline.. but it was 50% forward.. I had to manually reset the esc to start with to get it working then once I got it on the hotwire it was fine tuned. I Aldo found that I had to bind the rx to a diff channel on the tx.. I was having issue with the throttle not catching till it was half way pulled.. just a thought.. |

I do not have the hotwire pc interface so all I can do is use the quicktune adjustments thru the LED. I do not think I can change the mode without the hotwire set up. it says in the manual that the hotwire pc interface is needed for custom settings.

I run half a dozen fxr's an a couple RS's.. the hotwire is a must.. If you can find a friend with one or a lhs that has one, that's the way to go. As it only needs setup once.. but its great to have, cause my friends use mine an we don't have a lhs... |

After I installed my HH motor I see the issue was in the motor, not the ESC cause the HH motor seems to have full throttle in reverse now. Novak is that Viking for problematic?
