| poison Spyder, battery forward question
Ok so I'm getting ready to move the electronics around and Im not seeing a good way to move the battery fwd and be able to access it in the field very easy. Also I see a lot of people leaving the receiver in it's stock location, am I going to need the "battery forward tray" I keep reading about or will a creative mind figure it out? Are there any other snags that I've overlooked before I get started?

Ok I'm stuck , am I supposed to cut the center ear off the stock battery tray in order to use it or cut that whole side open? Next, esc is it possible to mount it inside the subwoofer between the seats to access the LED control's on the face or will I have heat issue's ?

I had my speedo behind the woofer. seemed to be ok there. I trimmed it back a little just for better access.

I know this has taken way longer than explained. And I'm only half way done.

Why do you need access to the buttons? Usually it's a "set & forget" item.

I've had many local crawlers come through my bench... Many come back due to this reason, people fiddling with buttons, nature of the beast. If there are buttons, they want to push them. Lol

Well I wont be pushing the onboard LED's till I get a replacement case, seeing how I somehow touched one of the buttons with the soldering iron yesterday melted it solid. I guess that's the way it goes when your 50% blind you cant watch it all
