Im new to the sport and just bought the 4 pls for my xr10. The instruction manuel is good for showing what it can do but thats about it. My main question I have is, do I have to connect my esc's (I'm running dual esc's) to the transmitter for it to have the data? or is that even required? They have already been set up from the previous owner of the crawler

I just got one also and look in the xr10 section and look and Harley's setup it's close to the 4pls. If you have the manual handy that helps a lot. The radio is awesome.

Yes both esc's need to be hooked up. I put mine on channel four like manual said to do.

2-You need to calibrate the ESC's to the RX (once step 1 is done). | |
