Default voltage regulator

Hi,
I been trying to find a voltage regulator with a high amp rating but no luck.
Does anyone know of a voltage regulator that can handle about 40 or 50 amps.
voltage from 6v to 36v or similar

Thanks.

Are you inquiring about an ESC or a BEC ?

50 amp speed controllers (ESC) are easily found...
And they regulate/supply voltage to the motor.
Which has the highest amp draw, tho' not usually 50amps
unless you put it in a bind and hold the throttle down forever.

A battery eliminator circuit(BEC) voltage regulator
can offer a 10 amps regulator and is usually more then enough amperage
for servos or other accessories.

So what exactly are you inquiring about ?

Why do you feel you need a 50A regulator ?

I think I did not explained what I was looking better my mistake.
I am trying to find one adjustable voltage regulator to have it installed between the battery and the esc to adjust the output volt on the fly, but the ones I have seen have small current rating of about 10amp.
Thanks.

I'm not really sure why you would need that.
Every ESC I know has it's own built in regulator.
Limiting the voltage to being too low for the ESC's demand
could be of issue I'd think.

Why not just get a quality transmitter
that has dual rate settings that can regulate (on the fly)
how much power is wanted/used ?

Guess I'm still not understanding what exactly your intent /or purpose is.

Maybe someone else has a better understanding of what you're attempting.
As I've never needed wire things up this way.

I guess this may be the closest thing I can think of:

CC BEC PRO 20A MAX OUTPUT, 12S (50.4 VOLTS) MAX INPUT SWITCHING REGULATOR

read the specs - I would think it would handle more than your requirements, still not very expensive - less than $37...

no problem I am not the best sometimes explaining the project.
I just want to be able to adjust the output voltage so that way the kid wont destroy the gearboxes.
Is for a ride on that I would install a 24v battery, but I figure I ask here in case someone know of good quality adjustable voltage reg.

The one I found have low amp ratings like this one
https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Voltage-...tage+regulator

but now that you mention it I might try the dual rate/expo on a computer radio and see how to make it r/c.

Thanks for the link but that would not work in this case.

I might try the radio option and see how that goes unless someone know of one volt reg like the one I am looking.

Why not just adjust endpoints on your radio so that you limit max throttle when your kid drives? I did that for my little ones for the first couple of years on any rig they drove. It's easy and very effective.
