This is what buying American looks like now? Lol
I don't see the "Made in America" claim anywhere?

I've been trying to acquire a Holmes Puller Pro V2, regular or stubby and maybe a Mamba X esc to upgrade my Losi Comp Crawler with, but the motors are out of stock EVERYWHERE I looked. If anyone has a link to find one of these in stock I'd be very grateful. I'd be happy getting the Hobbywing AXE 1.1/2300kv combo if I can't get my hands on the other but that combo is out of stock all over as well. Lol! And the Holmes servo is without a doubt on my radar, but same issue with finding one. I got some cheap servos and some higher end servos in my rigs, all of which are performing fine, but I REALLY want the new Holmes.

Good point. I was going to edit my original post. Except I never said "Made in America" either.

I also understand from a business perspective why he did it. He has brand loyalty and a following. Might as well cash in a little.

Sorry, the Puller Pro V2 I'm after is the 2700kv model. Found other kv motors in stock but that's the one I'm after.

The problem isn't with the servo being a rebrand, thats been going on for ages. The problem is with the 'brand' bt has built for themselves.

They've released a ton of rebranded parts in the past year, just nothing this expensive before.

I'm still running ds3218 on all my trucks with zero issues.
If it lasts longer than traxxas, horizon, or spektrum rtr stuff I'm good lol

That’s a bummer. Especially after seeing the RC Review video that shows how insanely overrated the JX 46kg servo is. Thing has HALF the torque it claims to have!!!

Exact same servo with a logo and a lot more price added onto it? I don't get it. Why would somebody buy this over the original?

I think there are much better servos to be had for only a few bucks more - Holmes SHV500v3, Savox 2290, etc.

I know this is only speculation but Harley brought up a decent point in the SNU, its possible if paid enough the supplier of the servo might build these to a different spec while retaining the same old case. Also another thing to consider is the warranty and parts support that the final seller might provide.

I thought about the service and warranty aspect of it, but for nearly twice the price I’ll gamble on the original.

Beef Tubes said it’s the exact same servo so there’s no guessing if it’s different internally.
