One bent rear stub axle. It makes me wonder if the wider axle width is playing a roll in it. Some chromo or titanium outers may help.

I've been bending Axial stubs, all of em are bent actually. Like I'm driving a wobbly wheeled clown car or something.

| I think they are bending because he is tightening the wheel nut too tight. But I could be wrong! We talked about it last night. I run mine up tight, then back them off a half turn and have not broke or bent an axial stub yet.

I was doing some destructive testing on some prototype links and chassis today and I sheared the upper link mount off, and the resulting debris demolished my front gears. All the teeth are still there, but they are in a neat little pile....

Sheared the pins off the long dog bone inner axle shaft. No one has any in stock. Guess its time to mod the stock shaft w/Axial CVDs. |

After 4 or 5 packs. Broke 1 stock stub, bent another. Broke 1 STRC knuckle Front gear lost one tooth. Anyone else had issues with the screws coming out of the knuckles? I didn't loctite them yet. Due to that I've lost a couple of the the bushings that the bolt goes through when attaching the knuckle. Where do you get those anyway? |
