Oh man, all that white delrin! I need to stay out of the berg section, all the cool kids are switching over, I can't abandon my XR....

Nice work Erik, this is gonna be an impressive build.

Yep. Just need to do some testing.

As soon as I get the car together I will be able to put some serious time on it now that its summer.

Yeah. Its super frustrating. What would be even more frustrating is if all these great parts did not exist. This hobby is cool because its made up of a bunch of regular guys that produce great parts, many in their spare time. This is much easier to see when youre on the vendor side and not the waiting customer side though

I am not sure if the white will be a one off/limited version or not. I think I am one of the only guys who like white and it is much harder to machine and keep looking clean. I do think it looks better after having to deal with some abuse though. Most likely the majority will be black. I cant remember where I read it but I have heard there is a strength difference from white to black? I am also curios what the strength difference would be between the colors in the sun. When I first got my temp gun to monitor my motor temps on my Losi I checked the temperature of everything around me in mid summer. Anything with any color added to it was 160*+ anything white based was 120*.

I edited the post on page 1 with the bushings but wanted to add it here too in case it was missed.

Important note:
The bushings are made to work with the stock stainless steel screws. If you use a different brand stainless screw, aluminum screw, steel screw etc,. you may find some will not even fit or be sloppy. After measuring many brands and different materials I have found the screws to vary greatly. I have not found a steel screw or aluminum screw that will fit.

looking awesome there Eric. Having a few bits from you already, know that anything you put out into the market will have great build quality and will be duable.

Looking forward to seeing the link/shock mounts. The delrin rear tubes I have on my Bully are great, they've stood up well to the beating they've taken the thought of some good delrin rears for the Berg to ooooooooooh yeah

"White" or natural is Delrin's normal color, meaning no additives are used to changes its color. Black they add in concentrated colors to produce, sadly this can negatively impact the overall material properties because Black Delrin doesn't exist, so they add in other chemicals/plastics to Delrin to make the color change.

White is a better choice IMO due to unchanged material properties.

Very true, we often forget the time/money involved for the great vendors to help us out.

Look forward to the rest of the build, and hope we see some cool new parts available due to this build!

Wow!
I am glad to see you coming to the dark side!!!

I have no doubt that this will be one sick rig!!!

I am interested to see how the delrin tubes work.
I had quite a few people ask me for them last year when we were working on bully tubes.

You going to have it done for the next comp??
