Ok, the driver is 100% mental. I get that. So my 65% above is 100% of 65%.

What about the physical part (the rig)?

No way you guys dont think there is a physical part to this hobby.

By that same deductive reasoning, Rock Claws work just as well as a worn Rover, we just dont believe, but if we did, they would?
If Rock claws had proven to me in practice and testing that they are superior then yes. They haven't so nope.

Do not try and drive the rig. That's impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth. There is no rig. Then you will see that it is not the rig that drives, it is only yourself.

When I'm an old fart clammering over the rocks there will be a physical aspect.

I don't know what you have been working with but I think you need to start working with it under the hood? All the way under. It might be getting to you?

Yeah, the car and driver are finally working good together again! It feels great now after the last 8 months of changing radios, testing axle shafts and switching over to the Dlux superlites.

I feel like I am finally coming back to where I was before Nationals and even better, I feel like there is so much more potential. Before nats I was getting bored with my radio and felt that I had outgrown it. My car is feeling great too. Its the first time I have ever driven a car that I feel like I dont need to change anything because there is no way it can be better. We will see how long that will last.

I'd say you were on point That is quite the point spread.
Glad you are getting a break from all the design and manufacturing process so you can get out and play. Thanks for all your hard work for the crawling community.

Sound familiar?

Yeah, it was a forced break last week and it was nice! The only thing that sucks about "vacations" is that it makes work much harder to come back to!

It has not been easy. It took a lot to commit to the sticks and I feel like the last 8 months were like taking a lot of steps backwards. Now, I feel like there is much more potential though. Kinda like investing in a 401k. If you suffer a bit now, you can be rewarded much later or,... the whole world could blow up so you may as well spend it now....

I am trying to up my video skills. This is the first one so there is a lot of room for improvement. My editing and filming needs work but I learned a lot by just doing this one.

This is Wendover this past weekend with my new camera. Rovers were sucking and blew the 7950.

That's a great way to get video. It came out really clean and sound was pretty good. Great driving there in Wendover. It looked like Mars or something.

Nice video Erik, I used to hate editing videos but it gets a lot easier after the first one. Next you know you'll have some sweet graphics, some bob marley playin' and some uber-cool slow mo' shots.

Digging the camara placement too

Thanks! You should put some effort in to making it to Wendover. There is no better place in the world for crawlers.

Yeah, its no small drop. I am usually good for 2 of those kind of rolls every time I am out there. Its pretty sketchy to catch your car in some of those situations because youre up on a cliff so it could be you and not the car if youre not careful.

Thanks man. I instantly learned a lot after I took this one and went back to the hotel and watched it. This camera is pretty sweet but it has no way to see what I am filming without putting it on my laptop so, if I learn something like an overhead view not being good, I just got a whole day worth of video with that mistake being made.
