Yeah, the rig is pretty bulletproof. The only thing I go through are my AL screws on my lower front links and all my electronics.

I am all for a crawling buddy, now I just need to find somebody who wants to crawl.

I dunno about 1st at nats. I have a lot of work to put in if thats even a possibility.

Haha, it does look like you are crawling in the middle if nowhere! Cool spot though, long walk?

Dig the noodle can mang! It's sweet to watch some good footage of my rig. You are getting tons of steering out of those new fangled shafts. I may have to get em in the next week or so. Thanks for posting the vid!!

It's almost like I was right there with you.

Your making me jealous.

I moved this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to act like a normal person again and we can be crawling buddies again soon

I will take that as a promise! Let me know when youre ready. I could have used you out there. I couldnt do any man lines..... ANY and I didnt know for a long time if it was me or my car. I finally settled on it being the tires and the temperature rise. It would be sweet to have somebody out to compare with though.

Your tires look super bouncy in the vid. What's the foam setup?

CI 5.25/soft front, Rover rear.

I could not get traction with those tires no matter what. This is the same exact setup I used a month or so ago (20* cooler though) with pretty good success.

Erik....please take a self portrait of you wearing the head cam. I bet yer as cute as a bearded button....um...wearing a head cam.

Rig looks very dialed. After my brain stopped smoking from reading your banter with Joel...I'm still confused & choose to believe that if I do well in a comp....its all ME. If I do poopy...it's my F'n rigs fault.

Cool video. Sort of like those motion rides at Disney World. Good idea with the camera on the head... too bad it takes out some of the depth of view. I had no idea you were that far up until the truck took a dive

Your brain was smoking? Sheesh, I just left it as is. I figure I will have to finish that conversation (or not) in person.

It takes out a lot of depth. I figured that out after day 1. I actually have a lot more video but you have no idea that I am even climbing anything. At the end of the video with that steep climb/nasty break over/burly side hill, I finally got the idea that I had to get lower. There is some video of my super in the super section where you can see that I learned this early on too. I think I am going to do like Stubs and do a camera mount, then I can do the head if I can get low enough or on the radio.

You had to like the part where I jumped down though, right? It kinda makes my stomach float when I watch it.

I know the camera of choice is the go pro, but I sure like my pov. I ride with it, and the lower profile is much better.

Well it wasn't smoking from the content of said conversation or even the subject matter. It was smoking at the lack of resolve...Which is why I used the term "banter."

Looking forward to seeing how you, your rig, your radio, the moon, the sand under your feet & any other variable in the equation of your success do this weekend.
