It looks like a pile of parts that need to be put together.

got my gear cases stripped of anodizing...

and then brushed with a wire brush on my dremel..
mounted my servo mounts from dlux..

attached the rear dlux link to the case..

rcbro's 7075 lockers ready for install..

im taking my time on this build..

i think im gonna go with the Ti hulksta rear shafts, instead of the axlemaster's.

Nice pile of parts! Just an FYI it is highly recommended to use Red thread locker on the shiny new pieces. Mine are done that way and have never come apart. If you need to break the seal, bake the gear and locker at 450 degrees for 20 mins and carefully handle the hot part to break the thread lock.

im using some blue hobbytown loctite...
it holds like red but its a bit easier to break loose.
the screw has nice crisp snap when it lets loose.
when i worked at hobbytown i gave a few to some customers to get their
input and they liked it better than the og loctite..and they were using it on their 500 class heli's.

but thanks for the info dickyT!

if it does endup failing ill go with some red for shure.

I have been excited to see this build happen for a while now.

You might push me over the edge and force me to build a berg.

i think this will be my 3rd one ive built up...
but those are no where near the lightweight sexyness this one will have..

waiting on ittybitty to get restocked on those sexy Ti hulksta shafts..

if we could only get someone to make us some lightweight gears for these axles..
that would be the shiz..

DLUX can mill your gears for you and mod the pin for a larger size. Check our 53 Willys build thread.
