Default CreationFab Berg Build

So since I needed something to test these new shafts in:

Budget Universals! More steer for less dollars

I figured it was time to start building. The front axle is all done. Mods done are:

- 86jeep mod for servo
- Home made servo mount
- Tube ends lathed down to accomidate XR chubs
- Motor plate milled
- Motor shoved up to allow 12t pinion
- Modded wraith universal shafts
- VP Wraith knuckles
- Hard annodized 6061 tie rod with 10-24 threads cut in
- Home made battery tray

For the rear I plan to mod wraith straight axle shafts, use wraith lockouts, and mill the motor plate

The list of parts will include:

-Holmes 35t sport motors
-Mamba Micro Pro ESC's
-CC BEC
-Futaba S9157 Servo
-Spectrum RX bound to the Nomadio
- 4S Elite 600mah lipos

-Losi NightCrawler wheels
-CI double deuce foams
-Trimmed and shaved Boss Claws

-TSK Minimal Chassis(to test for him)
-Alum links
-Alum SCX shocks rebuilt with Traxxas X rings, Bladders, and mini-T springs

This truck is meant to test out the universals. But I also dont plan to run loads of power through it, or make it the best truck in the world. So it wont have a few little things you might see on a sweet comp berg since it wont need it. Only thing I can see adding would be maybe a 300M 3rd gear in the front.

Decided to get building on this again on Friday.

Unfortunately I have lost the crawling bug as of late. Been too focused on getting CreationFab orders out, and my 85' Toyota Pickup. So this will be built then sold

Picked up some creeper bob TI rear shafts. They were machined of .250" TI rod, and they wouldnt fit in my tubes. I also wanted to run a standard 5mm bearing. So I machined the body down to 6mm and the bearing spot to 5mm. They should be plenty strong still

Made a set of my custom rear 1 piece tubes:

After that was all done, I machined down the motor plate flush with the rest of the case, installed the D_Lux lower link and upper link mounts, then re-assembled.

Last night I pulled out my old 1 piece CF Chump RT chassis I made myself and ran forever on my XR. Made some upper links of 3/16' 6061 hard anodized rod. Lowers are lunsford TI links.

Hoping to get her all ready to sell this week. Just need to get the shocks all sorted out, and possibly do a few more details to the axles.
