Shoot...5-6 of our "local" comps each year are around 3.5 hours from my house, but at least we can park pretty close to the rock though. The closest location is 1hr 15mins and the next closest is at least another hour past that

You aren't kidding about those shocks! I, too picked up a set at ECC. I loved my Power Strokes, and these make them seem like they're junk in comparison. They're the smoothest shock I've ever seen and while initially they may seem expensive, once you figure in the rod end mod and the keeping Doug spring cups, they're not much more than any of the upper end shocks.
