Nice!

Just need to decide if it's the bike trails or the YMCA.

I say bike trails. I'll probably want to play in that shallow water we found on the side of the trail a little more now that I'll be nearly 100% waterproofed.

I vote for bike trails.... I really enjoyed it back there and it seems to be a lot cleaner. (no fishing line in my axles).

Yup , I'm stoked. Already getting ready for more water running too.
Ordered a new metal stubby bumper not that it will help but it might look better than stock.

^^^^^^ Seems like a cool bumper. Give it a try. Sunday should be fun... Hope we can get a few more rigs out there.

May pull the trigger on it - won't have it here in time for the weekend though, which sucks. Unless I want to pay the price of the bumper for 2nd day or overnight.

Just ordered the idler gear so I should have all the gears I need to beef up the transmission in preparation for my MIPs. Never torn the transmission apart on this thing.

Eh - decided not to get that bumper. Saw it mounted on a few Honchos with 2.2s and it looks way too small. Plus I can't mount my lights on it very easily.

I love the bumper you got AILD but I don't know if it will clear my 2.2s.

On a side note, anybody know where I can get some more of the little tapered washers/spacers that you use with the Axial 2.2 beadlocks? One of them is torn to shit and starting to rust. May just sand them down and paint them.

If you want we can try it on your rig or ill put my pitbulls on my scx10 to see if they fit. Ill mount them and see what can be played with. Then you can decide.

My axles usually look fine. I fill them with marine grease and they usually stay pretty good. Our little group needs a build day get together. So we can sit down with the trucks and fix stuff or mod it.

I need a build day for the start of my new chassis imma probably start it Friday/Saturday but won't be done for a week or 2 cause of all the welding/brazing that will have to be done, but I have a welder so werever we do it I can bring that if anyone wants to make a cage or bumper we can do that easy

Would probably be easiest for you to just throw some 2.2s on your SCX10 and see how it works. I'd be happy to mount it on mine but that might be more work than it's worth, unless we have a build day soon.

I do the same with my axles - marine grease and call it good. Also pull off the C-hub carriers and rear axle lockouts, universals and dogbones and regrease those. Replace the bearings every few months or as needed. Aside from rusted driveshafts and a few rusted bolts, mine is holding up pretty well. It's probably that RCOCD we talked about last night, AILD!

How far is that from say, 17-92 and Horatio in Maitland?

Dude - that'd be badass. MIG welder, I'm guessing? Used to have one of those small Lincoln's from Lowe's but had to sell it when I moved down here. Welding in my condo might be a little sketchy...

My large parts order should be here today. Also got AMain to price match with RPP (was shocked that RPP had the HC knuckles and C-hub carriers for $11 cheaper!) so ended up using that store credit to get a few more small things that should be here tomorrow.

Hoping I can get everything done by Sunday.
