Couldn't see it clear enough in the pics, are you using solid or tube steel?
I'm assuming solid since you are using a MIG.....

Vise and a piece of tubing. I snapped my good Snap On bender.

I wanted it to be scale and I think the weight bias would work better this way. Thanks.

It's solid. The Saundo is a friend of mine and building a Wreckluse Foff and that chassis is maybe an oz or two lighter. I wish I had a Tig. This baby would be alum rod

This is VERY true bout the weight. For the shear size of Bart's rig the thing is pretty damn light so far. I am thinkin that when it's said an done though, the nitro will be a smidge heavier than the SUMBEACH (my wreckluse).

Wow this build is wicked! Definitely can't wait to see some vids in action! I wish here in Houston we have the terrain for huge hill climbs where FOFF rigs could contend.

Any idea of how heavy this baby is once she's rtr?

whats that old stock arm doing on that axle i bet you used it as a spacer for the Supershafty mounts didn't ya!

looks great man. i am really interested to see how you do the track bar. i had quite the time mounting mine on the SC truck with the twin force axle.

looks very good though.

are you going to have a three link system ont he axles? or just the ladder system like it is with the track bar? (i think i am confusing myself)

Actually MJ the stock arms are going to be the track bar links at the axles. I will cut them down when I get the link mounts on the chassis

That small drive line going to the rear axle. Do you think it will look like a jump rope at 30?????? RPM. Scary. not that it wont work. Just looks strange.

By the way you struck a deep vain with me. I love two strokes. The sound and the smell of fuel. Fawk yes.

Nitro will be my next step. When she is done lets see a video with great sound.

Yup they finally showed up. Kansas City is 5hrs from me and it took them a week to show up. They were cheap though.

There was a Japanese fellow in the large scale section that built a rig and used them for trac bar mounts. I can't take full credit for the idea. It's a good one though right

The last 2 pics are of full droop too, in case anyone is interested.

I don't want to be anywhere near that thing when it launches.
