Good build, very different, the gearbox , are all the gears stock SCX10 ? Wouldn't have thought they'd have taken the beating from that brushless.

Well their is no question what you are planning to do with this rig Sean. Looks like the mud bogs are in its future.

There's a idea.. Never thought about going to the Bogs with it...

Here a bit of a up-date guys, not a lot But we all know these things take time...

Refitted the Battery plate lower...Velco to help hold the Li-Po in place..

Test fit with 2200mAh Li-Po..

Found a Futaba Servo box in my Glider spares box ,
big enough to fit ESC and allow it the breath

Still have to work out what to do about the postes,
( Im needing a High Lift post bar for the body I have)

Side view will all leccy stuff fitted and ready to run..

WOW Sean ! This is looking amazing, I bet it would be better with some custom links . I know Calvin is working hard to get you running soon. It is my guess it will take longer for you to receive then for him to make.

i already tried that. not so much a bog, but muddy trails and puddles. damn good fun.. be careful as it wrecks bearings (wheels, trans, etc). luckily my receiver and motor survived.

Nice build Sean. i made some beef toobs out of stainless steel tube a while back as i stripped the threads on the aluminium ones i made. might be able to do some more sometime, will let you know.

im short of money this month, so the wraith axles and stuff are on hold. planning a new chassis anyway

How I mounted my servo plate...

Test fitting my steering linkage..

These photos are just the test fit... I may have to mess with my steering linkage once I get my custom lower/upper links..

Sean.
Looking good Sean , nice to see a axle atleast in its general area LOL. Great way to utilize items all ready around (Servo mount). I can't wait to see more.
I know it is difficult to get parts, you may want to get a Lunsford drag link though. only for the purpose of its smaller diameter. You may have to either, space the existing drag link away from the pinion or put a small notch on the axle housing, to allow easy movement of the link.

Oh !!! I get you now...

In my photo it looks like the stock drag link is rubbing on the axle bell housing,, it's not... I got the dremel out and sorted that when doing the test fit..there's just enough clearance for it...

But a Lunsford drag link sounds good , where would I get one ?
not in my local hobby shop thats for sure...
