An Post ( Irish Mail ) is good.. We have a post woman If there's a parcel for me and she see my wifes car outside our house she drops a note in the door for me to call down to the postoffice and pick it up... saves all the grief from the misses . . .

The kicker is I used first class mail I think... only cost like $6 to ship it vs $36 for the "5-7" day stuff... maybe it was just luck but hey any time I can save $ and get it there faster, were all happy I was a little worried when Google maps didn't like your address but I had a feeling you gave me the right one since you wanted your stuff Go get those on your rig and go crawl ill get the axle things I forgot to send in the mail shortly... my knee is kicking my butt on getting things done but i will struggle though |

I'll be up and running this weekend. Got my OD gears fitted.. fecked up with the link lenghts that Calvin sent me. I'll try and sort that out, with the dermel over the weekend.. Upper links 86mm front and rear (thanks to Calvin) with axial rod ends (AX80005#2). Lower stock lenght links 98mm with spacers added 2mm front , 5mm rear axial rod ends (Ax80005#4) I was having clearance trouble with my side mounted steering servo, so refitted it above the axle Even made a tow hitch... High risers fitted ,to help with the clearance.. Made a trailer the other weekend to tow my daughters drifter car.. Theres abit of body trimming to do , I'll also have to relocate the battery and ESC so I can the remove the shock risers and lower the CG but for now all I wanna do is get out and play.. Sean . .. Up-Date.. The day started with mist and rain.. So I thought no test run .. Off to my mancave away from the wife and kids , I spent a few hours getting the links to how I wanted , Front Upper 86mm Axial Rod ends , Lower 100mm Axial Rod end. Rear Upper 91mm Axial Rod ends , Lower 106mm Traxxas Rod ends. Relocated the Li-Po and raised the ESC , removed the shocks from the high risers to lower the CG , sorted out the clearance by fitting spacers here and there , fitted the extra braces that Calvin had made aswell... Then around 4pm the skys cleared . Off to the beach for a test run and to exercise the dog Axial SCX FOFFer. - YouTube Sean. . .. Last edited by West Cork Basher; 03-03-2012 at 03:16 PM. |

| Re: My new FOFF build nice one at 2:05 about the c-hub, but we have all been there train the dog to turn the truck back on its wheels at least you got a run, and you can decide what needs doing to improve it. looks a bit top heavy to me, maybe some wideners would help. edit. maybe more weight on the front or change the rear diff to stock or underdrive Last edited by M1tch; 03-03-2012 at 03:42 PM. |

Yeah, seems to roll over very easy, the sand was not that soft because of the rain earlyer... few more runs and I know one way or the other.. Lucky for me I've two spare hubs to brake while ,I get alloy ones sorted. Im very happy with my first test run... As for my dog(tiny) she chases every RC I've got from the Losi micro DT right up too the hpi Baja and even jumps up trying to catch my gliders
