I took a short & free class at a local sheet metal shop on how to form thin aluminum, now comes the trial and error part.

Good to know, I haven't tried shaping thin aluminum for quite a few years and need to learn any and all technology. I hope I don't waist alot of material before I figure it out.

Now all I jave to do is apply what I've learned in aluminum and apply to steel.

Practice is my friend, not to mention $$$.$$.

Only time will tell.

Well, I have to let everyone know that this build has take a dramatic turn. Because the only usable site has completely closed down and been rebuilt, I have decided to change course and build a 1/6 Willies jeep.

I'll post up a link as soon as I get a build together. It will be built using the same chassis with modification to fit the body.

I hope you will continue to follow and enjoy what I create.

Post up your thoughts and ideas to help me out, thanks.😎

The hills at Markham pk are way to hard, mostly base rock. Soft, loose sand is preferred.

Willy's is the way to go for me.

It's slightly wider than the revo ball, but with a little pressure it'll compress enough to take the slop out.
Great idea, also like the use of magnets for brazing, awesome build man.

Thank you. Magnets are great to align, test fit and hold the work in place. If you don't know magnets DO NOT like heat, they can pop or explode. When I use them to hold pieces inplace for brazing I alway make sure there at least 4" away from any joint I'm working on and aim the flame away from the magnets.

Happy building and brazing.
