CVA = Constant Velocity Axle?

But they have univeral joints, which do not maintain constant velocity.

I have a set of these, and I'm running 3-cell. Mine haven't snapped... Yet. There's just not a lot of meat on these things.

So..

I have contacted Junfac several times after they requested a picture of the broken axle. That was 3 weeks ago.
And:

No, i havent got a replacement part from Junfac. No, i havent got my money back from Junfac. No, i havent got ANY mail from Junfac regarding this case.
So, at this point im so fed up so i put up a dispute via PayPal as i really do want my money back.

That was my first and last time doing business with Junfac.

I think I'd be inclined to get the money back.

Sorry that my answer took this long.. (starting to sound like Junfac customer service)

I made the dispute via PayPal as i paid with it, so its the only way to make the dispute. And way easiest as seller always reacts to dispute, as can be seen with this case.
If you have paid some other way, i dont think you have other options than contact directly to Junfac.

They said to me that the senior customer service person who e-mailed me the first time, was on holiday now and thats why answering took 3 weeks. Quite a lame excuse but as i was also at holiday when i read that lameness, i didnt bother to react to that.
They only asked me if my address info is correct, and they will send a replacement part for free of charge.
They also asked if i could cancel the dispute i made. So i did.

Thats the end for me with this case. Still not going to buy from Junfac anymore.

I would have told them the minute I have my part in hand is when I will cancel the dispute. Let us know how long it takes to get your new axle.

Well, i can answer this:

Those CVD's are really just piss poor quality. Yesterday evening i installed brand new CVD's which i had in my drawer for a year, as i got them free from Junfac as the first pair snapped.
Today, i was on a safari comp, as again other CVD snapped.

Dont buy this crap, the quality of those CVD's are really poor.
Besize, they get you no help what so ever for turning radius, so theres no good reason for using those.
Ill stick with the dogbones from now on, at least they are durable.

What motor, esc, battery and tires are you running. I've got Junfac cv's in mine. Lots of steering modification and the weight is up to 7 lbs now, and I haven't broke one in the 8 months I've been running them, but I only run a 35T on 2s.

I run in some pretty nasty places with mine also. Mutant rock formations and lots of tire grabbing crevasses, and I drive it like I hate it. You must be putting down a little more power than I am.

Yup, that's probably a little more power than a 35T can.

Its not about the power.

I have Holmes 35T with 3S lipos and trust me, its just not about the power on this case.
I know its a rough situation for CVD when your fronts are maxed to right or left and you apply full gas.
The only difference is, that a good quality CVD will hold on, but GMade's dont.
I've had CVD's before on much more powerful cars, but this by far is the worst quality ive ever seen.

But, as i said, you will get max turning radius even with the stock dog bones, so these crap CVD's are really not worth buying.

I don't know how you're getting the same steering with dog bones as you are cv's? After reworking my knuckles and c-hubs the dog bones would catch on the cups and bind. I'm even running R1 gears in the front Of my Sawback and not a problem one. Why 3s in a Sawback? You run some type of G6 style speed events?
