| Crawler Body- option pics posted
I am attempting to gain the interest of a well known local lexan r/c body manufactuer McAllisrer Racing. If we give him some ideas and express our intrest and need of a crawler specific body he might produce one. I have given him a link to this site and thread so let him know what you would like to see in a crawler body. Possibly one that would fit all our needs from The TCS Extreme to X-Factor conversion. Please also remember that it is an expensive process to make a quality lexan body so alot of one type will need to be made to be worth it and I wiil buy at least 20 myself of what ever is decided. So think hard and post on Last edited by a_vdk; 03-28-2005 at 10:37 PM. |

| ditto for a flatfender jeep (any model would be fine by me) I didn't know that they were local? I bought a NASCAR Monte Carlo of their brand a month or two ago at the LHS here in Mesa. |

Toyota! I would DIE for a 1st generation 4Runner! They are the classic Toyotas. The most desirable Toyota ever made is a 1985 4Runner, solid axle, EFI. That would be the best body to make! But a truck would work too! See my website for pics of my truck www.toyotaoffroad.net/afertig/88 and here's a link with a TON of Toyota trucks, click on each generation to see pics http://www.top4runners.com/ja/friends.html and finally some good crawler Toyota pics from pirate4x4 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...light=favorite http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...light=favorite http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...light=favorite http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...ghlight=truggy http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showt...ghlight=truggy That should be plenty! |

Please keep the bashing of others choices to a minimum and be as specific as possible. So far I see mostly 1st. generation toyota's and Samari's as possible favorites. I will set up a poll as soon as we have quite a few posts to help narrow it down.

What about licensing? How will he go about that? Or will he just leave out the emblems or something?

I would love to have something that looks hardcore. Meaning bobbed and having a stock SWB so it looks deadly with a 16" wheelbase.
