I think this build thread is more complete than most crawler builds on this site. Pretty soon you wont have any rooms left in the house to pimp out.

Wow nice work there Harley! I have been helping my dad build a {much smaller and less AWESOME} work space. None the less good use of space

Im surprised you don't have an enclosure around your Taig yet. Those little mills can really hurl some chips if your not careful. I am working on a sheet metal enclosure for my Sherline since I run a flood coolant system and that is MESSY but effective

Thanks man, I hope to maximize my space and organization and really have the all the space I need.

Yeah I have plans for an enclosure but haven't thought out how I want to do it yet.

Finished up the shelves under my benches today. It really stiffened up the entire bench as well. The legs are much better tied to the wall now.

8' long, simple one, 1' off the floor, I want to keep everything off the ground since it's a basement.

This one made me scratch my head, just the shape of everything was kind of funky. I also plan to have a stool in front of the computer that will be here. This will allow me to store it under the bench top.

Laying out the odd bench top.

I can't decide!! I freaking hate to paint but I know it would look good. I think I would paint them black if I did paint them.

Black would go great with the orange you have.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll do that this week. I'm standing here staring at it and it probably wouldn't be that terrible to do.

Last one for tonight. Starting to size up storage containers to see what will work best. The small ones on the right are from the dollar store, pretty handy size could really help separate out the smaller stuff. The larger ones don't seem to maximize the usage space, so I may find a more suitable size that maybe I can stack 2 high. These would be great for tires and foams and whatever else takes up a lot of space.

I believe it's the Chicago brand. Pretty standard Harbor Frieght, Cummins Tools type one. Nothing crazy fancy but I'll be damn happy to have one finally!

I use a 20x30" (aprox specs) mortar mixing tub as my coolant basin for my Sherline. It is tough and works! You could easily rig up an enclosure with PVC pipe and vinyl > sheet metal! All I know is I don't want a $3,000 fountain

Rubbermaid makes a half height version of the large tub you have there. They stack great and label easily.

It slid right on tight, doesn't need any fastening at all.
Be careful and use a respirator if you have to weld on Galvi. The fumes are toxic! I know of a few guys who pretty much wrecked their respiratory sytem from welding Galvi without the proper protection. It's just not worth it. Be safe. The workshop space looks fantastic!! Nice job man!
