| Question about wraith torque.
I'm kinda new to the rock crawling world and noticed that there are rock racers and rock crawlers. My question is does the wraith have the torque of a crawler? I've been driving a mini losi rock crawler and I love how much torque the truck has. If the wraith doesn't have the low end of a crawler I don't think that's what I'm looking for.

if you want more torque put a different motor in it. it comes with a 20t for speed, go to a 35t with a 14 tooth pinnion. you can even go to a 55t and have tons of torque. its all in the way you set it up. do some research in the wraith thread, it will answer any question you have.

Cheap is to try a smaller pinion gear, that will slow it down a bit but give the rig more grunt. Or, you can up the turns for more torque but then you will likely want to regear to gain some speed back. Are you running a 2S or 3S LiPO?? If 2S, you could always go to 3S.....check your ESC though to make sure it will handle 3S. |
