Default RC4WD new customer support?

So did RC4WD get new customer support? It seems like they don't know how to properly answer a question.

I asked if the Gelande 2 bumpers would fit on a TF2 and this si their reply...

Quote:
Dear customer,

G2 rear bumper not fit TF2 rear

Thanks,
Candie
Like what? I'm glad you could explain....Idk if it's just me but I found this kinda weird...

It's interesting you mentioned that. I emailed them asking for the size of replacement hardware for some RC4WD beadlocks I have. I told them the name of the beadlocks and they still replied asking for a photo of the wheel.

Try asking your questions in Chinese, you might get better answers.

I have both, they mount totally different.
So, G2 rear bumper not fit TF2 rear.

The hardward could have changed during it's production run.

This is the first time I've e-mailed them in a few months and never had this bad of a reply. Also I was gonna have one of my beadlock wheels replaced because of the screws for the hub cap stripped and they asked for a picture too. I imagine to see the damage but pretty much impossible to show that if the screw wouldn't come out. In the ned I decided to not send it in. The hubs still work so it's whatever.

Yes, I know that. This e-mail was sent mid last week found out before they replied but couldn't they use some proper english or something? Was just really odd to me. Also I imagine I could probably get some metal and make my own mount for it but the body I got isn't going to be used anymore anyways.

Honestly, RC4wd customer support has always been pretty shotty at best. your best bet, is to blow up their sub-forum on here. that's really the only way of getting anything done.

I have been having the same problem, I emailed them about my tf2 gear problem and I wrote a long email telling them everything that was going on and she sent me back " ok describe your issue", guess I wasn't clear enough.

Sounds like she's not supposed to deal with those questions. Sounds like they caught her now since my thread...

funny this topic came up. the same lady (Candie) has been quick to reply to my e-mails, but I get the same kind of answers. 1st reply was send pictures, so I did that. her 2nd reply was send pictures and part number, so ive send 2 of the same picture and now the part number. I understand the pictures the second time, maybe the link didn't work or something. but the part number??? rc4wd only makes 1 winch and I gave her all the info on it including color. I'm not complaining at all, she has been quick to respond so at least I'm getting feed back. I kinda feel the way you guys do, maybe a slight language barrier there. rc4wd has always done me good so i'll go along with what she asks for and get my repair figured out

I'm naming my next build Candie, because as anyone in EPARCCrawlers will tell you... My rigs have no business in the scaler community.

Ya know after reading your post, it took me about 2 mins to go to rc4wd's site & answer your question by simply looking at the chassis's of both. Hmmmmmm....

I've seen topic about people not happy with the way they didn't get a "polite" responses but none where someone didn't even use proper english. This is different IMO.

Proper english? Jesus H! I bristle at complaints like these, i'm sure because i deal with customers at my job. REAL customer service concerns are warranted. I get it. But your coming accross very nit-picky. This is not aimed at the few others i've read in this thread with legitimate complaints. But, fracture, if you'd even paid lipservice to doing your research (like we all have to, before ordering), then you wouldn't have contacted them in the 1st place! Now proper english? Perhapse some real problems would put this one in perspective for you. Kinda doubt it tho.

Clearly a legitimate complaint since I was e-mailed back by someone who actually knows what they are doing and apologized for it. Now move along, no need to get upset. Even the guy that e-mailed me back was confused. Also I clearly wasn't complaining. It was on observation. I still got my answer was just weird.

Buy RC4WD products from RPP Hobby = Problem solved.

Use a coupon code and it comes out less than RC4WDs website = Profit.

lol
