The new Wraith truss will be done soon. It's on the mill now. It's a whole new design

When will the individual pieces be available for purchase?

Fracture thanks for the reply, but just a few posts above Harley stated that the RJ truss will still work as.will the tubes. I was just trying to clarify which RJ. Truss will work.

Harley any clarification?

I was speaking of the SCX versions, the Wraith options are not completed yet.

Can you use stock wraith links with the new truss?

Yeah, stock links worked with the old Wraith Currie and will with the new one also.

Seriously though.. What's the pinion bearing size?
If it really was bigger you would think the size would be easier to find.

Wasn't aware it was difficult to find the size. Should get that listed on the site. It is included with the housing so you don't have to purchase it ahead of time.

Is it possible to use a "no slop" type locker on these axles ? How can you tighten the grub screws ?

You'd have to drill a hole in the housing. Just use LockedUp or Hot Racing lockers. That's what I did.

IM really itching to see the truss design for the wraith F9s. Got a chassis for them.

Just use Lockedup spools. No slop, no grub screws.

Hey Harley thanks for the responses. After some research I'm going with XR10 width axles for my Matzilla Mantis Build (do you think that'll look alright?) I saw that that's what you did for your U4 build and I liked it. I can't seem to find steering link for t online. Is there somewhere that's not sold out where I can find xr10 width steering linkage? Thanks

The completeness of the XR width axle options at VP is admittedly lacking. Getting packaged XR width axle kits together is one thing I would like to accomplish soon. Right now, I do not believe that a VP tie-rod is available in a prebent width.

As for the XR Width on a Mantis, I believe that should be fine. As long as the narrower width of the shock mounts on the axle and subsequent shallower angle that the trailing arms will need to follow doesn't pose an issue for the upper shock mount locations. I can't say that I would be able to give you a definite answer on that one.
