| Wraith problems help!
Last night I held my wraith in my left hand and spund the tires with my right hand. I noticed than when i spin them they stop for a split second. Why are they doing that? I did that do my bomber and they wheels didnt stop at all.

If you spin the tires fast by hand the drag Brake will kick in even if your battery isn't connected and the truck is off. Probably what you are experiencing.

I would move the motor and pinion away from the spur gear and try it. If you have a bad tooth in a diff or trans it could be causing a mesh problem momentary. or like mine a hd pinion and standard ring gear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I was going to try to get mine together without pulling the diffs apart but after feeling the lack of smooth ness changed my mind. Would have had many problems. Trying to get things sorted out now during all the rain we have been getting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I would think changing to metal would make more noise going on my automotive experience. Not sure with RC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

yup ill ask my dad where it is. besides i am second guessing why i got them. The SSD steel driveshafts have too much play and they need a slip yoke elimator but this isn't 1:1 lol. THinking about buying the "famous" MIP's

Does yours use a set screw or a pin through the shafts? Mine had old style set screw gears with a pin style shaft and I had slop in mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

it has a thread at the top then just looks like a pin the rest of the way down.

I wouldn't think there would be too much slop with that setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

what do you mean slope. I was talking about the bad play in my SSD drivehshafts. I dont think they are long enough. They are too wobbly.

Yes, too much play - also known as "slop"..... Not anything to do with "slope". |

i ran my wraith again the other day and i broke 3 times. First the front right tire came off, then the front tires wouldnt spin because the knuckles and steering came loose. then my shocks came loose. (too excited to go out and didnt did a pre run check). I broke the transmission down last night and i think that the problem was not only was the driveshafts loose but the outer and innter steel slipper plate screws were loose completely. I used a enormous amount of blue loctite(for how i drive) to hold the screws in place. Could this have been the problem of the tires not spinning at all????
