Mounting a Hilux body without body clips?

My hilux body should be here in the morning. How can I mount the hilux body without body clips?

I was thinking I would replace the body posts with some sort of Velcro?

Yes you can use Velcro or magnets for mounting the body.

My hilux has a full floor and bolts to the frame like a 1:1.

I haven't worked on it in a couple years but there are a few pictures in this thread: Nigel's Built Not Bought '81 Lux I want to cut it back out and redo it. I plan on selling vacuum formed floors and firewalls for the hilux cab and will end up using one of those. They will have all the detail of a 1:1 floor.

I would guess around spring. There are quite a few products ahead of it.
