Propane tank was painted with Sophisticated Finishes rust kit first (look it up, it's a two part rust paint), then I got the tank wet and sprinkled coarse salt over it. Once it dried I painted the top coat of white. Once THAT dried I lightly wet sanded off the salt. The rust paint will rust out from underneath like real life. I used the same strategy here: pardonmyn00b's RC4WD Gelande 2 w/Cruiser Body Kit

Showed this to my wife and she asked "Is that what you want to build?" and she said she likes it. Looks awesome and the rigs look great driving around through it.

If you make it part of the landscape and don't fill it up with rubbish tiny truck mountains can be quite pleasing to the eye. And if your wife likes gardening ask her to help. Lots of maintenance.

Jeeps don't require a permit, they need to be accompanied by a Toyota. You know, for the inevitable breakdown.

Ah, so maybe it'll be beneficial to put a tow hitch on the jeep to help get the Toyota through the rough parts? Haha jk.

Try flooded. Weird winter so far.

And the rope bridge collapsed recently. In the spring I'll build a new foot bridge.

I had to fire the wrestler and hire our favorite a hole from spiderman to pilot the jeep, he's expensive, hope he drives better than the wrestler.
