I'm sure the bumper will work. Take your time. This is why I love having a lhs. If I need help installing a part, they do it for me, for free most if the time. If you live near a hobby shop, take it in and I'm sure they'd be glad to install it for you. I'll have to figure out what's wrong with photobucket, it keeps telling me "click to open image in full size". I'm guessing it's because I'm on an iPad and not a computer. I'll check it out tomorrow if I am off... Hoping for the riots downtown to be both over (costing the city money for repairs, which means taxes go ^)and for them go still be going strong (so I have off of school tomorrow) I'm guessing you've heard about the riots in Baltimore Maryland, some guy resisted arrest and had his spinal cord accidentally snapped like a twig and died after being in a coma for a week. So people have decided burning buildings and police cars to the ground is a legitimate solution...... I'm not even an upper class-man in high school and I'm also ready smarter than they are... |

Nah man. Mayweather for the win. Wth am I saying, I don't even watch boxing Heck, I don't even watch sports, let alone tv in general. It's either (in order of most important to least important) • Sleeping • Eating • School • RC cars (maintenance, purchasing of new parts, installing new parts) Last edited by -SCXD90-; 04-28-2015 at 07:13 PM. |

Ugh so I was talking to a friend from Chicago a bit ago and we started talking about scale axles, and now I have a merv that I am selling soon, I have to buy electronics for $100 (esc, motor, and batteries), I want a defender 90 body for the scx10 and NOW I want a set of leafs and T-Rex 60 axles under it. I need like 7492649 jobs to fund my RC addiction.....lmao

| Re: RC4WD Gelande II D110 Truck Kit w/Hard Body build/review [/IMG] So hopefully the picture shows up, but I found an old set of Japanese headphones and if I can shorten the cord I can synthesize a soundtrack of an engine and install the speaker in the defender, so it makes real sounds. I'd need to find a way to make the motor sound match the throttle of the truck. Hmmm...... |

I don't know what's up with that lmao How much was the bumper? Which model was it? |

I'm at school right now but once I get free time I'll look for a manual. I've been thinking all day about getting the brushless system for the scx10. Tapping my foot all day waiting for that package. Just like you did, I'm tracking that thing CONSTANTLY I can't wait to try it out Why didn't I pay extra for overnight shipping? |

Noooooooooooo keep the AE-5 out of your rig. I've fried 3 in 1 month so far.....kind of agitating. Got my first March 14th, burnt it up that day, got a factory replacement, burnt that up a week later, and I burnt my last one up last week. I'm going for the more powerful rig. Stock radio and transmitter Solar D772 servo at 6.0V (417OZ of torque) Hobbywing 35A esc with dual 2s 45C lipos (4s 90C 4000mah total) Tactic 2200KV 10 pinion and 96 spur I might even get custom gears made. A 5t pinion and a 100+ Spur would be amazing lol. |

| Re: RC4WD Gelande II D110 Truck Kit w/Hard Body build/review Good. Keep it like that. The ae5 is a POS and you should upgrade ASAP. Quote:
How much $ has it been so far? The only thing I've seen you have an issue with is the bumper... If you don't want the whole truck, I WILL take it. Roller, artr, or RTR I would take it. If you have any issues, I'd be glad to offer any assistance I can give you, and I'm sure even my lhs would be glad to help you out with any issues. If you need help with anything, post it up. We will get your rig running soon enough... | |

I don't run a bumper.....I've not found a use for one yet. It kills approach angles and adds unneeded weight making the motor work harder. Again, what do you mean by wider tires? You won't get much wider than 1.5" if that's what you're aiming for. |

Have you considered the new RC4WD 1.7" beadlock rims and 1.7" Irok scale tires? Most vehicles come with 17" rims, it's the most scale combo you can get. Check it out, you might like it. |

Rims Stamped Steel 1.7" Beadlock Wagon Wheels Tires Interco IROK 1.7" Scale Tires Make sure to buy 4 packs of the tires, the RC4WD compound wears down quickly. |
