Fed Ex, like all of the shipping companies, is only as good as your local driver. That same jabroni probably worked at UPS last month and after he gets fired from Fed Ex, he'll be a lifer at DHL.

How did you shoot that POV like that?
I used my Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod & ball-head setup. It's one of the few things I kept after I sold off almost all of my photography stuff (another expensive hobby).

It can do stuff like this...

(not mine)

So with the tripod legs extended to full height, and the arm locked horizontally... I just adjust the ball head to face down at the table which is a sit/stand table... so the table height is adjustable as well.

When I said that, I had 3 different orders from Tower that made it from Illinois to Houston in 2 days via ground, exceeding expected arrival dates. But now that I’ve said it, My BOM spent 36 hours parked in OK before moving again.

I'm surprised to see you grab one of these. Just didn't take it as your cup of tea not that I know you. But I'm anxious to see what you do with it.

Nice find in the SCX10 II knuckles fitting!

So I’m a newb and curious about this. I’m only familiar with RTR kits like the trx4 and scx10.
How do these compare?

These just released a few days ago so its too early to tell. From a specs standpoint, they should be better than a 10.2. Just depends on how they hold up. IF ebay drops a good coupon this weekend I may have to grab one.

The Link mounts on the axles are interchangeable as well. I did an eyeball measure of the chassis rails, it looks like the holes line up perfectly. I’m going to try scx10-ii c-hubs on it today.
The Gmade website has a bunch of hop ups available already.

Looking at the images it looks like front shock towers are compatible also?

Bumpers also?

If a few of you guys can make a confirmed compatibility list then I will make a BOM page on the SSD RC site with the compatible parts.
Thanks

I can confirm link mounts & front shock towers so far. Link mounts aren’t perfect though, as the lugs on the link mounts go deeper into the axle on Axial parts, & the holes on the Gmade axles aren’t as deep. Other than that they bolt up no problem. Gmade is on the right, Axial is center & SSD is on the left.

Just a quick pass with the grinder and I suppose the Axial ones should fit no problem...

Front shock towers from Samix & SSD rock shield front bumper mount. The second set of screw holes on the bumper mount line up, I just don’t have the proper size screw handy.

The SSD rear rock shield is a no go

This is great information. Thanks

It's interesting that they changed the rear frame width. Maybe the front and rear bumper posts are same as SCX10 II spacing (43mm)?

Here’s the Gmade rear mount with a SCX10 ii Cherokee rear bumper. The front Gmade mount is the same.

The only other thing that I can think of that has crossover potential is the cage to body.
