Default Cms hits servo under 3/4 compression.

I have a Remo 1093-st Honcho clone. I bought a a new stronger steering servo but if I mount it from top down on the chassis the servo horn hits the frame rails. So I mounted it from underneath and now it smacks the axle stopping full compression. Anyone have any tricks or ideas that may help.

You might try looking for a servo horn that has an offset to it similar to this one https://www.amainhobbies.com/ruddog-...p-0085/p538043

If you can get some measurements from where the old servo locates the servo horn compared to the new servo you should be able to figure out which offset you'll want to look for. Also pay attention to the spline count on the horn to make sure it fits your servo, some are 24T and some are 25T.

What I linked is just to get the idea, its not actually what I think you need.

I'd recommend checking the measurement I mentioned above and then look for the right servo horn.

You can make custom and rod ends that bend around the pumpkin.
You can Rais the servo up in the chassis with spacers.
You can buy different axles with smaller pumpkins (maybe scx10 2 axles? Might not help)
Longer shocks (probably not what you want.)
