Scale shocks that don't suck! Help

I'm using duratrax evader bx front shocks. Not very scale looking, but they hold oil and are very smooth, threaded body, standard size spring, etc. my scaler isn't up and running, but they're just a shorter version of the shocks I use (with great success) in my comp rig.

TURTLE clued me in to them, I think he uses them too. Pretty reasonable price, considering how nice they are.

Most of my scalers run about 6 oz of weight in the wheels and I have tried 30-1000wt oil in the tlt shocks and they ALWAYS leak. New or old I cant keep the oil in them. Everyone I know has the same problem.

Only set I have seen hold oil was Chino's FJ, but the shocks were angled foward on the front of his bruiser frame, for whatever reason with the combo of that angle and leaf springs they didnt leak

thanks, yeah they did great. no oil. just enough to wet the o-rings.
