Which esc do you think would be a better choice to use in a berg set up with 11.1v, 5995 servo, and a spectrum s75 micro servo for the dig. A sidewinder or the tekin fxr? Kind of leaning towards the fxr, but not 100% sure. Also do you think I would need to use a cc bec? Thanks for the great deal and all the help Last edited by dorji; 07-15-2008 at 10:46 PM. | |

dorji.....I would go with the FXR. That is the set up I run in my Berg and love it. The Sidewinder does allow you to go brushless (wth 1 motor) down the road though, so you may want to take that into consideration. I would say that a BEC is definately necessary for a dual motor, dual servo rig. You will have some crazy wheelspeed with HH 35T and 11.1V in a Berg. I have some Integy 55T in mine with 11.1v and they where calling it a rock racer at the last comp. The wheelspeed is great. |

Just installed my new 35T 540 in my SW3 with a 9.6 Elite 1500 saddle pack. What a rocket and still has the ability to go real slow for those tight spots. Excellent product! Thanks John. |

35T or 45T? Will the 35 pushed by 6cell saddle pack get bogged down in a bind? Do you have any 35's or 45's handwound in stock? Thanks |

The 45t motors are being wound, probably a week or two out from my hands. I had 35t in stock, may have sold them all in the last few days. 2/3a cells can keep up with a 35t, but if you really push them hard they will start to get voltage depressed. Just depends on your driving really. |

It should perform near the same. I will get them dyno'd to be sure, but the armature and magnets will be very similar. The brushes will be a tad larger, and the endbell will be a nice machined aluminum. Price will be a few bucks more most likely.
