Even some original 35t motors love the new parts for the motors. |

John I delete my first post as I was unsure I explained my question correctly. Anywho I was looking at metal ring this morning and it is threaded as I thought. My question is how well will this fiber ring hold a thread when tightening down? Also have you had any issues with cracking due to stress? | |

We have had no issues with the rings cracking or losing threads. The stock steel rings are much easier to strip or bend actually. For a while we tested carbon fiber rings, and they didn't hold up well. Too brittle. Fiberglass is flexible and the fibers bend around the screw instead of breaking every time an adjustment is made.

Is the advantage of a brushed motor the price?
