I know they bought it but I was wondering if someone was making them and then selling them.

There are a lot of guys on the forum here (and in the vendors section) that make them. I know that BlueMonster, Hulk and Boyer make really excellent tubers. I have only seen one example of Supercrawlerfreak's work and it was real nice too. Shop around.

Dad picked up a few items today.
  • DX3.0
  • JR DS8611A steering servo
  • Park 450
  • Mamba 25
  • 3/16" steel plate (to weld under the front 3-link for weight bias)

He wants to go crawling tomorrow morning, should be able to "Git-R-Dun"

Truck is almost done.

Dad wants to go crawling, we've been working all night to get things wrapped up.

Need to install the ESC, make the steering link to go from the servo to bellcrank, and program the ESC and TX.

Took Dad crawling today.

Had fun until he busted the stock plastic bellcrank on Devil's Driveway. (A new steel bellcrank is already installed)

Following the FJ onto the rocks...

Running one of the scale courses...

Dad drove through Escalator with no issues.

I showed him the "wide" line through Devil's Driveway...

Had fun but the day ended early when Dad tried to use throttle to get up an undercut and busted the bellcrank. He made a new one from steel.

Dad needs to get a driver!

Looks like ton's of fun. I have been blissfully uninterested in a scaler until i saw the pics and read the stories from your scale comp.

Let me say now... damn you JiA and your bad influence! :-P

I would say that Jason himself is equally lucky to have an opportunity to spend time with his father doing something they both enjoy.

Looks great Jason. The lake is still down.....I think it is time to host another event.

Jeremy, he brought foam with him. Now that he's got a truck he can try it.

Crawler Noob, not ony are my Dad and my Son into crawling, but my Wife is too!

She drove my Son's Nylint at the Augusta comp last weekend...said she had a blast.

She told me she wants a crawler now too!

She even ordered two donor rigs for the build.

You have enough trucks around.. why build another one.. As much as you love Mina, you should just give her the Scorpion
