here is some video from the scale run. Thom"ass" did the shaky video, i did the best i could do with it. We didn't take alot of video because the place was so awesome, we kinda just all took off like kids in candy store!!

As always the vid looks great. I just got the software loaded so maybe I can get the comp footage edited and posted.

It was nice to meet you, ALWAYSFIXIN, and your son. Thanks for taking the time to hunt us down. The scale run was a blast. Even if my FJ was a little top heavy.

We are having a midweek comp tomorrow on Bogus Basin Rd at 6:30-7:00 pm. The next Competition of the Rock Mafia Series will be July 16th at Horshoe Bend. Come out and spectate or compete we are always open to newcomers and we are a fairly good group of guys

Nice Video Dino and Brian. It makes me really want to go back.

Default city of rocks comp

ok guys i had 16 min of edited footage from city of rocks, and somehow in the process of cleaning up i deleted the first half of it. I had to break it up in to 2 parts for you tube(which is what caused the screw up). anyways i lost a lot of good footage of mike, jeff, and myself etc. sorry guys. i tried to recover it but no luck, well just have to go back!! anyways here's the link for what i still have enjoy.

Default Rock Mafia Comp 3 Horshoe Bend

Out driving this weekend I stopped by our next comp location to see how it was looking with how high the water is this year.

I'll let you guys judge ...

So I don't figure we will be swimming out to the rocks to crawl. Considering this we are probably going to move the date for Comp 3 of the 2011 Series from Saturday 7-16 to Sunday 7-17 as this date is easier for most of you and we will also be changing locations. We will keep you guys updated on where we determine is best to go and see if we cant find something that is a little cooler than the desert locations without being flooded .

More then likely we will have to bring the shade. We are still looking but it might be at Table Rock. I said maybe.

Alright guys we found the new location for Comp 3 of our 2011 Series. The river is still really high so our usual horse show bend crawling area is still flooded. Since the temps are still climbing we just went a little father north.

Just a few miles past our usual spot is the banks river beach. There are picnic tables, secluded sandy beaches, and of course nice clusters of rocks all covered by shade. The only thing is that there is a 3 dollar parking fee for each car. So bring the families the comp crawlers and the scalers. It should be a fun day

Location: Banks River Beach
Date: 7/17/11
Time: sign-ups 9:30, comp 10:00

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the whole R/C scene and have fallen face first into this Rock Crawler addiction. I just wanted to double check that Sunday 7-17 was still a go for the comp? I wanted to come check out my first Crawler Comp Scene. Looking forward to checking it out and hopefully participating in the future once my XR10 Crawler is up and running.
