Glad to see so many new faces and a couple kids... we need more young people so we can have a beginner class.

It was a good time. I learned a few things too. Now that I am home taking apart my rig, I learned a few more things. Now to put all that to good use. LOL

a tip for you new guys... something I learned the hard way. Build your rig as tough as you think it needs to be and then build it a little more. Steel gears, mip or punisher driveshafts etc. There is nothing worse than being in the lead at the comp and blowing a shaft or breaking a trans gear (done both).

Tyler... get some slower motors or 2s!

I've been building my rig up with as much beef as possible. Once I de-slop my lockers and get some driveshaft rings and I should be golden. I have STRC straight shafts in the rear, MIP's up front. Center's are stock but with a silver can, that's not an issue. Unweighted wheels helps durability too.

Great time indeed Wish I could have stayed longer. Lots of new faces. Definitely some short comings on my rig that I must fix. Tires need work, considering titanium links. Rock chucker hill done chucked my truck. I suppose after I left people walked that gate in the corner like it was no issue.

Wow, I did not think I did so well my first time driving a crawler......ever. I think I went back and forth a few times in my office on the carpet, and did a dig circle. LOL

My 5yr old had fun too.....

Me and my kid had a great time yesterday, glad I finished where I did after the crappy run on the first course! Gotta get working on the creeper to get it working better! Gonna bring my 10yr old boy next time to see how he does!
