yeah some things are going to be tweaked. more mentorship with the younger creatives and not actively involved with the day to day grind.

i dont think its gonna work... i think itll be fine for awhile but sooner or later ill hate it again. key this time is to not let it get to the point i leave without a plan.

only issue i have is the driver tire will rub on the inner fender while turning and hitting a bump.

Be careful they arent using you to "train" noobs so they can get rid of you. My old company did that all the time to anyone who showed they werent 100% loyal to the company. They would hire someone to "help you out" and they would tell you. Just train them enough to make your job easier...once the "helper" stated he felt he knew enough. The "trainer" was out the door.

naw. they want me back because they need me. it's not like being trained to run a machine or something. i have a solid grasp on the brand with 15 years experience and i get shit done without much drama. i also have a really good relationship with the production studio john works at along with some others, and those are all things that come with being there so long.

and if they let me go for whatever reason, not fired but let go, i get severance... so its a win/win.


edit - i didnt mean to come off like my shit dont stink. like brian said everybody is replaceable.

Picked up my new interstate battery today. Tomorrow i install my new 4AWG cable setup and my new battery. I got side posts for future electronic running.

radio wont work in timmy all the sudden... power to the deck but the ground is bunk.

but instead of just having a simple ground close to the deck (which is mounted in the roof) the person who put the radio in decided to run the ground alllll the way down to somewhere under the dash with multiple butt connectors splices along the way.

im gonna just rip out all this macguyver wiring crap and start over. its obvious whoever put the radio in wasnt the same guy who put the tracker wiring harness in, because its night and day difference in craftsmanship.

Well, I went to the dentist for a cleaning and now I'm at the bar next door enjoying their all you can eat/drink special. It's pretty dead and all the bar staff are Loyola students. They are pretty chill and gave me a shot glass necklace and a few other trinkets.
