Off-topic: anyone happen to have a chain link fence they want removed?

I priced out some new stuff and it's gonna be about $1500 for the 300' I need along with necessary hardware, gates, poles, etc. If I go the craigslist route and get used stuff.. I can probably get the job done for around $500.

i got a feeling i wont make it, even tho its like 15 minutes away… we'll see how the weather is and how much 1:1 i get done. gonna see if i can knock out my fuel pump install saturday but it looks like a total pita.

also have the new steering setup i need to put on timmy, which i was going to get done last weekend but got lazy.

I'm headed out with Dave C. to Raceway woods and possibly some other spots around the Crystal Lake area Sunday, unless he wants to change it up and head elsewhere. I'm down for wherever. I have Sunday free. I'm game to start early and end late. I plan to bring the camera and take lots of pics as usual wherever we end up.

No, that's the new overpass. There is some really cool stuff in there though and it's 2 min from my house. Raceway is off of rt.31 between Dundee and algonquin and the crystal lake spots are about 15 min north of that.
Mike and I are talking 8 or 9ish on Sunday morning. Meet at raceway, play for a few hrs then hit some more spots.
Come on out, unless you break something you won't be dissappointed

and if you do break hobbytown is like 5 min away.

I'm trying to make it to Bartlett tonight to recruit more bodies to come out on Sunday, or send me a PM. I'll post up an address for everyone so you can check it out!

Ok, google maps didn't give me an address. But if you check it out on the satallitte photos you can see it's right off rt.31 The path that it shows is the old meadowdale racetrack . I can usually spend a good 4 hrs in there and not get to everything! It has something for everybody- hill climbs, creek runs, lots of rocky roots trails, some old burnt out race cars to drive on. Honestly to much to list, I tell people it's like Busse Woods on acid

so come on out and have some fun!

If people are going to come over I'll do some food prep.
Last time I made chili and that was pretty easy... basically cooked it early in the morning and just heated it back up.
