When I pulled the axle apart, I found that the bearing traces were still in it and the axle was solid. Saved me some work, so its now ready to roll tomorrow!

I can't make it.. Gotta help someone move and with the hours I worked this week, I haven't had a chance to put my rig back together. I got a decent raise at work though.. That's nice.

Took barely legal out today, broke a plastic hitec servo horn, and my track bar bolt on the chassis side jumped ship.

Broke into die_laughing's house and stole one of his racers edge horns, now its back up and ready for tomorrow.

now it seems my front axle is no longer centered. I dont know what to do about that...i cant really shorten the track bar.

got a fuel pressure guage and confirmed weak fuel pressure (40..) with immediate bleed down after pump priming or car turned off.

so... good thing i cut a fuel pump hatch when i put the stereo in back around 07. not really an easy job but a pair of 90degree end needle nose pliers helped a ton with the fuel fittings just back behind my trap door.

anyway long story short the hose running from the pump had worn a hole in itself from rubbing on another section of the pump...

its good to know without a doubt what my hard to start problems and fuel pump noise was all about.

before it was 40psi running and bled to zero the second the car was turned off. it would prime for about 1 second before dropping to zero psi, made starting a hassle...

now it primes and holds at 50psi and runs at 60psi. im so stoked! so satisfying to have it crackle into life on the first try.

i also got a much beefier racetronix wiring harness for the pump but meh, ill save that for later.
